What these jobs involve

Common call-outs

Cable changes

The most frequent job on the lake. Cables are a wear item — replacing them before one parts is far cheaper than after.

Bracket swaps

Low-rise pontoon brackets, pontoon risers and high-performance brackets for double-stack beams. They are not interchangeable.

Motors & gear plates

Diagnostics first. A motor that trips is often a binding cable or a failing gear plate rather than the motor itself.
